Hikes From the Ramsauer high plateau at the foot of the Dachstein south face, there are a number of wide ranging, signposted hiking trails, passing by cosy mountain huts and taverns serving food – ideal for mountain pasture hut hiking with the whole family.

Mountaineering & climbing For mountaineers and climbers, the Dachstein glacier region offers a number of enticing tours as well as climbing routes at varying levels of difficulty.

Mountain biking In the area surrounding Ramsau am Dachstein, bikers of all types will discover a network of especially prepared bike routes, mountain pasture trails and roads. The range on offer includes light trips for the whole family up to speedy downhill and challenging day tours for the more active holiday-maker.

Riding Only 5 min away from Stockerwirt is a riding school with indoor course, terrain trails and great tour possibilities. For your kids there are a few sweet ponies to have their first lessons on. A particularly great experience is a carriage ride through the wonderful landscape of the Ramsau sunny plateau.
